Characteristics of not-a-virus:AdWare.Win32.Lyckriks.cw
It has been found that not-a-virus:AdWare.Win32.Lyckriks.cw has raged for some time and it is widely recognized as difficult-to- remove type:‘Two days ago Kaspersky detected the virus not-a-virus:AdWare.Win32.Lyckriks.cw on our computer. I have gone through the process of deleting it and disinfecting with a reboot, but even after this, it still shows up as detected, no matter how many times I do it. Any ideas on how to get it off my computer for good? I am running Kaspersky 2013 on Windows 7. Thanks!’
Addition to tough characteristic, not-a-virus:AdWare.Win32.Lyckriks.cw has been found to be capable of arousing popup ads, more specifically, open candy ads. Obviously, it is a virus contrary to what it names itself after.
